We must trust, have faith in the Lord.

Who's on first? What's on second? I don't know - third base.
The old Abbott and Costello routine hits home (excuse the word play) given our current circumstances in America and the entire world.

We have business, political and spiritual leaders who are making grave mistakes and imperiling the lives of many. What can we do? We can pray, we can wait and be calm, and we can be quiet and trust in the Lord. The Lord has a solid foundation, a rock for us to hold on to when we are in distress. He has given us the plan of salvation which was His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived and died and was raised on the third day so that we might believe in His name and have eternal life in his heavenly kingdom.

It's a mystery how the Lord is working in the world, in America, even in our Battle Creek community. The Lord doesn't care who is on first or second, or third, but He does want us to be home, His eternal home, where He has promised a place for us. The Lord can and will make a way out of no way for you and for me - if we believe with the faith of a child in His great works.

Okay, but what about those that don't believe in gods and the so called power of prayer?
For my fellow atheists, don't you just love that last line?
